Approval of Meeting Minutes:
- Secretary Lingousky read the minutes of the May 15, 2025 meeting. On a motion by Rod Bardo, seconded by Jay Gross, the minutes were approved with the correction that it was the president, not the VP who announced the women’s handgun training at Keystone .

Tomassacci Tree service sent 6 guys who took all the dead and leaning trees we had identified in 6 hours on Monday June 16. Also thanked was member Clif Orzolek who took away the large oak tree that fell next to the pavilion, also as a donation to the Club. Rod Bardo made a motion to send a thank you and T-shirts & hats to all who did the tree work. Motion seconded by JoJo Stortzum. Motion carried.

Old Business:
Gerry reported that the silhouette range is almost done. He will write up a blurb for the secretary to send to Josh Farr to put in the Press Enterprise to let everyone know that first time shooters shoot for free and there is free ammo for youngsters who shoot. The secretary will also ask Josh Farr if he’d be interested in coming to the club to do a story on the new shoot.
The new handicap porta potty is here and in place.
Wood next to the dumpster can go into the dumpster next work day.
New Business:
The secretary read a request sent to the Club by a group out of Pittsburgh who are looking for support for a bill to prohibit mass balloon releases. After discussion it was agreed that this should fall under existing littering laws, and that more laws don’t make better policy. A vote was taken after significant discussion and the “nays” have it – the Club will not support such a bill.
It was reported that a sample of run-off water from the range was sent to a test lab and the results reported to Mike Felegie from the lab indicate there is no lead nor anything toxic in the run-off water.
Good and Welfare of the Club:
JoJo volunteered to do the July meeting dinner.
Adjournment:
There being no further business to discuss, on a motion to adjourn by Jeff Thompson, the meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
