January Minutes

Jan 22, 2026

Call to Order:

The January 15, 2026 meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with a moment of silence and the Pledge of Allegiance.  Twenty-eight members and guests were present.  

Approval of Meeting Minutes:

The Secretary read the minutes of the December 18, 2025 meeting. On a motion by JoJo Stortzum, seconded by John Stortzum, the minutes were approved with the correction that the Early Bird
Expo goes through Feb 1, 2026.

Treasurer’s Report:

The treasurer’s report for December was presented by the President in the Treasurer’s absence.  On a motion by Ken Hall, seconded by Rod Bardo, the report was approved as read.

President’s Report:

The president reported that the club is doing well and thanked everyone for their participation and help.

Vice President’s Report:

None

Committee Reports:  

Falling steel reported 5 shooters

Practical pistol reported 11

22LR committee reported that new larger silhouettes are on order

Trap and Skeet reported 24 rounds

Introduction of New Members:

Upon a motion by the secretary, seconded by Denny Jaskiewicz, the following nine new adult members were approved for membership:

Old Business:  

The President reported that plans are in place for the Club’s 2026 Early Bird Expo booth.  The expo is January 29th through Feb 1, 2026.  Volunteers to help man the booth would be welcome. 

New Business: 

Two requests for clubhouse rental were presented.  Garry Marr for May 9, 2026 and John Shultz for Feb. 28, 2026.  On a motion by Jim Cunningham, seconded by Dale Harris, both requests were approved.

Good and Welfare of the Club:

Ken Hall reported that he is looking to expand the CMP match to small bore for youth and also a Glock match.

Dennis Chapin reminded everyone that the FNRA dinner will be April 10, 2026 and encouraged members to support this non-profit as it benefits clubs like ours.

Jim Cunningham and JoJo Stortzum volunteered to collaborate for the February meeting dinner.

There being no further business to discuss, on a motion to adjourn by everyone, the meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
