Steel

Steel shooting is a fast paced activity where shooters face an array of steel plates and knockdown targets which provide instant audible and visual hit feedback.  Our steel shoots consist of 4 unique stages every match. Each stage has 8 or more steel targets and on occasion swinging, popup and/or cardboard silhouettes.  Scoring is done using Vickers Count.

Pistol Class
A handgun and a belt-worn outside the waistband (OWB) holster are required.  Both lead and FMJ ammunition are permitted.  Loaded velocities should be kept under 1300fps.  Caliber should be 9mm and up. NO HOLLOW POINT BULLETS

Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) and .22 LR are shot from the low ready.

The following sub-classes will be scored separately:
Open: Optics, ported/compensated barrels
Limited: No optics, no ported/compensated barrels. Anything else goes.
Limited 8: Single stack 8 rounds or less.  No optics, no ported/compensated barrels. Magazines may only be loaded with 8 rounds.
